CVC continues to monitor the evolving COVID-19 pandemic. We’re taking steps to keep our communities, vendors and staff safe. Please check back often for updates.

The well-being of our participants and staff is our top priority.  Many of our workshops and events are being delivered online.

We’re following provincial and local regulations regarding COVID-19 guidelines for indoor and outdoor gatherings.

  • Stay at home if you are feeling sick, if you have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive, or are under self-quarantine.
  • Practice physical distancing and best hygiene practices in compliance with local and provincial guidelines. We will do everything we can to ensure participants maintain physical distancing at our events.
  • Masks or face coverings are optional.
  • Bring your own snacks, lunch and water.
  • We will provide equipment. You can also bring your own.
  • Dress for the weather and wear long pants and closed-toe shoes or boots.
  • You must acknowledge and read all CVC waivers and forms.
  • Youth must also bring a signed waiver forms by a parent/ guardian (no digital signatures) in order to participate in the event
  • Online registration requirements are event specific. Please check our calendar listings at
  • You will receive notification if events change or are cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions.
  • We will post COVID-19 best practice signage and have visual prompts to guide appropriate spacing.
  • We will provide hand sanitizing stations.

Planning and Permit Services

We continue to provide uninterrupted services. Our staff are available by email, by appointment via video conference, phone or by drop-in to our Planning Counter.
