- Please be aware this is a multi-use trail. Respect all users.
- The Elora-Cataract Trailway is now open for snowmobiling. Dog sledding is also permitted on the trail section between Winston Churchill Blvd. and Cataract Rd.

Tree Removal
- On Tuesday, January 31 and Wednesday, February 1 there will be delays of up to 1o minutes along the Island Lake entrance road as crews are working to remove hazard trees.
Ice Conditions
- There are 7″ of black ice on the areas of the lake safe for fishing.
- Stay off unsafe ice marked in red on the map below.
- The ice is only accessible from marked areas off parking lots P1 and P3 marked on the map below.
Trail Status
- Trails are snowy and ungroomed. Ensure you have proper footwear, including boots and poles when visiting.
Activities
- Ice fishing is permitted on selected areas of the lake. Ice hut rentals are not available at this time.
- Skating on the lake will begin when ice surface conditions improve.
- Skating reservations are available for the ice rink at the Rockview Pavilion near parking lot P4.
Sales and Rentals
- Ice rod and snowshoe rentals and reservations are now available.
- Fat tire bike rentals are now available.
Parking
- Only pedestrian access is available at 4thAvenue in Orangeville to the Lakeside Trail. The Home Hardware parking lot is closed indefinitely for trail users. Vehicles will be towed.

- Ken Whillans Resource Management Area is closed for the season and will re-open in April 2023.

Trail Status
- As of December 14, 2022, a seasonal trail closure is in effect at Limehouse Conservation Area. The section of Bruce Trail between the parking lot link trail and the ‘hole in the wall’ will be closed due to unsafe winter conditions. It will remain closed for the winter season. Park Status
- Please consider visiting on weekdays or early mornings/late afternoons on weekends and holidays.
- The arch at the mill ruins has been wrapped in construction fencing due to health and safety concerns. We’re seeing an increase in visitors trying to stand on this feature which is unsafe and against park rules. The arch is not intended for foot traffic. An unobstructed photo of the arch is not available at this time.

Trail Status
- Region of Peel construction work on the new pump station at the Silver Birch entrance is currently underway. The trail access from Silver Birch is closed to the public. Please use an alternate access to the conservation area. For inquiries about this project, please contact the Region of Peel at [email protected]
- New boardwalk construction is ongoing along the Waterfront Trail. The boardwalk is open for public use with some construction activities still ongoing.

Parking may not be available during peak visitation. Avoid visiting on weekends from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Activities
- Trails are open for snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Please be advised that trails are currently groomed, but are not track set.
- Skating remains unavailable.
Sales and Rentals
- Snowshoe, cross country ski, and kicksled rentals are now available.
- Reservations are now open. Walk-ins will be accepted on a first come first served basis, and there will be an additional $2.00 walk-in fee charged on site.

- Trails are snowy and may be icy. Please wear proper footwear and consider poles when visiting.
Ice Conditions
- Dangerous ice is now forming on lakes and ponds, please obey signage.
- Stay off unsafe ice.
