Want picturesque settings for your next cycling experience? We offer three exciting trails which will challenge novice and expert cyclists. Our trails pass through geographical features such as the Oak Ridges Moraine and the Niagara Escarpment.
In winter, try fat tire cycling at Island Lake Conservation Area.
Our Cycling Trails
Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville
The Vicki Barron Lakeside Trail at Island Lake is suitable for new and experienced cyclists.
Elora Cataract Trailway, Elora to Cataract
The 47-kilometre Elora Cataract Trailway links the Credit River Watershed to the Grand River Watershed, running through communities along the way. It is suitable for new and experienced cyclists.

Jim Tovey Lakeview Conservation Area
The Waterfront Trail at Jim Tovey Lakeview Conservation Area is the only trail in the park where cycling, e-bikes and e-scooters are permitted. It’s suitable for new and experienced cyclists. This is a multi-use trail. Riders are required to travel at a safe speed and must follow local by-laws and posted trail rules. Please be aware this is not a through trail.Â

Ken Whillans Conservation Area, Caledon Village
You can access the Caledon Trailway where cycling is permitted through Ken Whillans. Cycling is not permitted on any other trails in the park.

Cycling Trail Etiquette
- Give the right-of-way to smaller and slower users.
- Stay right when approaching oncoming users.
- Stay on the trail surface.
- Obey signs.
- Respect the privacy of landowners bordering the trails.
- Leave wildlife and plants for others to enjoy.
- Motorized vehicles are not permitted on Credit Valley Park trails. E-bikes with electric assist can be used on trails that permit cycling to assist with pedaling in difficult areas. Cyclists must maintain a safe speed on these shared trails.
