Rural Water Quality Programs

Discover Grants for Agricultural Stewardship Projects

CVC’s Rural Water Quality Programs provide financial and technical assistance to farmers that own and rent farmland in the Credit River Watershed. The programs support on-farm initiatives that enhance soil health, improve water and air quality, create habitats and boost climate change resilience.

We have allocated over $1.4 million to agricultural landowners for agri-environmental projects across the Credit River Watershed. Read about some of the projects supported by our Rural Water Quality Programs.

Grant rates vary by county and reflect local priorities and budgets.
