About the Instructor
David Riseborough, Assistant Superintendent for Conservation Parks at Island Lake is the staff instructor for this ice fishing experience.
David has been fishing since he was 4 years old. He grew up on the Credit River in Erin, Ontario and has been fishing in CVC parks for over 20 years. He spent two years as a guide in Northwestern Ontario for a fly in fishing camp and specializes in catching warm water fish species. In his free time, he travels all across the province chasing the next bite. His favourite species to target are bass and musky in the summer, and pike and panfish through the ice.
