Join us, Credit Valley Conservation Foundation and the Friends of Island Lake for the 16th Annual Island Lake Bass Derby.
Big catch prizes are available for the top 10 bass! Prizes are also available for perch, crappie, pike and youth categories.
Registration Fees
- Regular (age 13+): $75 - $110
- Youth (age 15 and under): $10 - $20
- Early bird pricing is available until July 2nd
Prizes:
Regular (age 13 years and older): Prizes will be awarded to the registered participant catching the fish that has the highest combined score that includes weight (in grams) and length (in millimeters). Read the full event details.
- 1st place Bass: $5,000 cash
- 2nd place Bass: $1,500 cash
- 3rd place Bass $1,000 and more!
Youth (15 years old and under) daily plaques for first place: Largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, yellow perch, black crappie, pumpkinseed and rock bass.

Event Notes
- One day or two day tickets are available.
- Park and boat launch open at 5:30 a.m.
- The Rental Shop, bait, tackle, and rentals open at 6 a.m.
- Fishing license required for those fishing age 18 to 64.
