Cooksville SNAP Action Plan Launch and Tree Planting
May 10 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Celebrate the new Cooksville Action Plan by Planting Trees!
Bring your family, friends and neighbours for a fun morning of planting native trees and shrubs in Cooksville Park!
Meet CVC staff and representatives from local community groups while you learn about the new Cooksville Sustainable Neighbourhood (SNAP) Action Plan.
Fight Climate Change in your Community
Trees help fight climate change by storing carbon dioxide and providing natural cooling on hot summer days. They also create habitat for local wildlife and add beauty to your community.
Tree planting spaces are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Volunteer hours are also available and a light lunch will be provided!
This event is part of the Cooksville Sustainable Actions Neighborhood Plan (SNAP).
