Reel in a Big Catch at the Annual Derby
Join us for the 14th Annual Ice Fishing Derby at Island Lake Conservation Area. Cash prizes for Northern pike, black crappie, and yellow perch in the adult category. Prizes in the youth category.
Early Bird Prize: Register early before February 9 at noon for the opportunity to win an Individual Credit Valley Parks Annual Pass.
Registration fees:
Adults (12 and older) $35, plus HST.
Youth (11 and under) $10, plus HST.
Daily park admission fees apply.
Credit Valley Parks passholders receive free park entrance.
About the Event
A valid Ontario fishing licence is required to participate in the derby. Ontario Family Fishing Weekend takes place February 17-19. This is a license-free fishing weekend.
No live outside bait. Bait can be purchased on-site at the rental shop.
