Get to know our new Rural Outreach team!

Kelsey Ducsharm and Karen Buckle have moved into new positions and welcome to Kristian Stephens, Justin Rai and Glenys Robinson, who have recently joined the team.

Your Agricultural Extension Team

Led by Holly Shipclark, our Agricultural Extension team offers funding and technical assistance to help you realize sustainable actions on your farm. Whether that’s creating a farm plan or enhancing soil health, they’re here to help. Holly is joined by two coordinators, Karen Buckle and Kristian Stephens.

Since joining CVC, Karen has worked to foster a strong stewardship ethic within the rural community. Inspired by the farmers she meets and their commitment to caring for their land and water, Karen is determined to create pathways to collaboration and connect farmers with the tools and resources they need. She understands that even the smallest individual actions collectively enhance the health of our watershed.

Driven by a desire to improve soil health and ensure a sustainable future for farmers, Kristian has worked with farmers to employ sustainable practices across sectors and provinces for nearly 20 years prior to joining CVC. Most recently, he delivered the Ontario Environmental Farm Plan for the Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association.

Your Rural Residential Engagement Team

Rural residents can rely on our Rural Residential Engagement Team for help with managing their properties sustainably. Alison Qua-Enoo, the program lead, is joined by program coordinator Kelsey Ducsharm and program assistants Justin Rai and Glenys Robinson.

A past program assistant, Kelsey is inspired by the many rural residents protecting their land and water. Connecting them with tools to achieve their property goals and positively impact the Credit River Watershed is truly rewarding.

Previously an environmental outreach and program assistant, Justin is excited to rejoin the RRE team. He believes rural residents significantly influencing the health of the watershed and their successes inspire others to take similar action.

Glenys, a beekeeper who believes in the cumulative impact of small changes, is passionate about providing residents with resources for sustainable land management.

Please join us in welcoming the team to their new roles. They’re excited to work with you!
