Your Support Makes a Difference

Protecting nature is our bottom line. Because of your generous support, we can protect our local environment for future generations to enjoy. Donations to the Credit Valley Conservation Foundation (CVCF) from local residents, landowners, community organizations, schools and businesses have allowed us to develop programs and services dedicated to protecting, restoring and managing the natural resources of the Credit River Watershed.

Giving Tuesday, a movement intended to inspire people to do good in their communities, launches the season of giving on Tuesday November, 28. This is a great opportunity to connect with the Foundation as they continue to raise funds for local environmental initiatives completed by Credit Valley Conservation. Donations are vital for a thriving environment that protects, connects and sustains the health and well-being of the Credit River Watershed and its communities.

Your Generosity Has Impact

As fellow nature lovers, we know you appreciate the value of local green spaces and access to outdoor recreational opportunities. Your generous support will help fund land acquisition for environmental protection, enhancing our conservation areas and connecting the Credit Valley Trail.

How Can You Support Nature?

This year you can kick-off the season of giving and support nature in several ways:

  1. Join the Holiday Auction: Bid on great items for those on your gift giving list. Proceeds directly support conservation initiatives in the Credit River Watershed.
  2. Support a Cause: Select a cause you want to support through a charitable donation.
  3. Spread the Word: Encourage friends, family and coworkers to help support CVCF through the month-long end-of-year giving campaign.
  4. Get Involved: Make a commitment to get involved and support environmental action by participating in our events and volunteer programs in the coming year.
