2020 Accomplishments

Rural landowners and farmers are protecting grassland bird nesting habitat by delaying the hay harvest date on their lands.

44 program participants, 16 farmers, 18 properties, 306 acres certified as bird-friendly, 36 pairs of nesting grassland birds, 46 eastern meadowlark sightings and 198 bobolink sightings
