May 30, 2025, Mississauga, ON—Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) announces that, effective immediately, Quentin Hanchard is no longer serving as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO).
This decision was made by the CVC Board of Directors and reflects the Board’s continued commitment to the strength, stability and future success of the organization. Leadership transitions can bring change, but also opportunities to build on the CVC’s strong foundation and strategic direction.
Interim Leadership Appointment
The Board is pleased to announce that Terri LeRoux, Director of Parks, Lands and Community Engagement, will assume the role of Acting CAO, while the search for permanent leadership is undertaken. Terri brings extensive experience in conservation and organizational leadership and has been a key member of CVC’s executive team. Her in-depth knowledge of the organization’s operations, partnerships and community priorities ensures capable leadership during this transition.
“Terri is a highly respected leader at CVC and across the watershed,” said Michael Palleschi, Regional Councillor for Wards 2 and 6, City of Brampton and Chair of the CVC Board of Directors. “Her collaborative approach and deep understanding of our programs make her well-positioned to guide the organization forward as we continue to deliver on our mission and strategic objectives.”
“We thank Quentin Hanchard for his contributions to CVC,” added Councillor Palleschi. “We wish him every success in his future endeavors.”
Commitment to Continuity and Progress
Credit Valley Conservation remains steadfast in its dedication to protecting, restoring and managing the natural resources of the Credit River Watershed. The Board has full confidence in the executive leadership team and staff to continue providing exceptional service to communities, municipalities and partners across the region.
The recruitment process for a new permanent CAO will begin shortly. Updates will be shared on our website.
