Help plant wildflowers and earn volunteer hours
Calling all high schoolers and youth in post-secondary school. Are you looking for volunteer hours? Join us to make a positive impact on local biodiversity as we plant 95 wildflowers at Belfountain Conservation Area.
Location:
Meet us in the parking lot of Belfountain Conservation Area - 819 Forks of the Credit Rd, Belfountain, ON L7K 0E7. When you arrive or get dropped off, please tell the gatehouse attendant you are here for the volunteer planting.
What to Wear and Bring:
- For your safety, wear a hat, long pants, long socks and closed-toe shoes
- Please dress for the weather (layers recommended)
- Your own snacks and reusable water bottle (we have water to refill from)
- Sunscreen and bug spray
- Any volunteer hours form you need us to sign
- Waiver (if required, see details below)
Please read carefully before registering:
- Youth between the ages of 14 and 17 must bring this form with them to participate. Please note that youth volunteers must be 14 or older to volunteer at this event.
- Youth above the age of 18, please read over this volunteer waiver.
- Note that this is a youth-only planting.
- Please make sure you have a way of contacting a guardian, parent, or emergency contact in the event of an emergency or transportation coordination.
