Planting in Acton Webinar

May 28 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Support Planting Projects in Your Neighbourhood

In this webinar, you'll learn about planting projects that are both happening now and upcoming. You'll also learn why these projects matter, how they help improve local green spaces, wildlife and community well‑being and how you can get involved to support planting in your neighbourhood.

Did you know? Planting native plants in Halton Hills is generously supported by the Green Municipal Fund’s Growing Canada's Community Canopies (GCCC) project, funded by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM).

The Action Plan outlines four goals and 22 practical actions focused on protecting, enhancing, and restoring Black Creek, Bovis Creek, Fairy Lake, and surrounding natural areas to support a healthier environment.

The Acton SNAP is a community-driven roadmap designed to make Acton greener, healthier and ready for the future. It brings together residents, local businesses, institutions and partners to protect nature, improve water quality and build a climate-resilient neighbourhood where people and nature thrive together.
