Peel Farm Tour

Get Inspired by Sustainable Farming
Join us at Whole Village, a 191-acre farm and eco-community, in Caledon.
During a walking tour of the property, you’ll learn how the community, with funding support from the Peel Rural Water Quality Program (PRWQP) and ALUS Peel, has enhanced grassland and forest habitats for their cattle and local wildlife.
After dinner, hear a presentation from Stefan Herceg and Therese Estephan, both Peel Region Risk Management Officials, on how the community uses a Source Water Protection Risk Management Plan to protect the quality of its surface and ground water.
There will also be a presentation from program staff on available services, funding and next steps for similar projects. A locally-sourced dinner will be provided.
CVC is hosting this event in partnership with Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, Peel Region and ALUS.
