Morphology 2026: A Photographic Exhibition
May 23 @ 1:00 pm - June 3 @ 4:00 pm
Explore a New Landscape in Celebration of the Jim Tovey Lakeview Conservation Area
Over nine years, local photo artists documented the evolution of Jim Tovey Lakeview Conservation Area from a degraded section of the Mississauga shoreline into a into a thriving waterfront conservation area with a restored habitat. This culminating exhibition explores our evolving relationship with water and landscapes, and our shared stewardship in protecting the Great Lakes.
Morphology was inspired by the vision of late Councillor Jim Tovey, a passionate environmental advocate. Jim championed the revitalization of the Lakeview shoreline and believed that art could help people connect with nature, environmental science and Lake Ontario.
