Cooksville SNAP Neighbourhood Walk, Talk and Connect
August 22 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
Learn About Nature at Cooksville Creek
About this event:
Join CVC’s Cooksville SNAP team, along with Kenneth and Moneira, local Cooksville residents and avid nature lovers, for Water and Time: Cooksville Creek, from Microseasons to Millennia, a family-friendly walk along Cooksville Creek and discover the natural spaces of Mississauga. Along the way, we'll explore what connects humans, non-human beings, our ancestors and future generations to each other and the natural world.
This is a shorter, all-ages friendly, late-summer version of a Jane's Walk that facilitators and Cooksville locals, Kenneth and Moneira, have been conducting for two years, and hope to run for as long as they are your neighbours.
This event is part of the Cooksville Sustainable Actions Neighbourhood Plan (SNAP) and everyone is welcome to join, whether you live, work or play in Cooksville (or beyond)!
