Cooksville Park Litter Cleanup

Help Care for Cooksville
Join CVC and Heart Comonos to help make the Cooksville SNAP neighbourhood more sustainable and ready for a changing climate. This event is part of Cooksville Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Plan (SNAP).
Help keep Cooksville Park clean and green! Participants will help collect litter to create a healthy green space in the community. Litter pickers, garbage bags and gloves will be provided.
Location:
Meet us at the entrance on Frayne Court. Street parking is available on Frayne Court.
What to Wear and Bring:
- For your own safety, wear a hat, long pants, long socks (to tuck your pants into) and closed-toed shoes.
- This is a rain-or-shine event. Please dress for the weather.
- Your own reusable water bottle (we have water to refill from).
- Sunscreen and bug spray.
Additional Information:
- Event starts promptly at 9:30 a.m. Please arrive on time.
- Registration is recommended. Register for this event by noon on September 26.
- Washroom amenities are not available.
- Volunteers under 18 please bring a signed copy of our waiver, or bring your parent/guardian to sign you in at the event.
- Volunteers over 18 please read the event waiver. You will sign this at the event.
- Participants collecting volunteer hours please notify staff at the event.
