October 28, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
Get Involved
This event is part of the Hungry Hollow Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Plan (SNAP). Content will focus on the Hungry Hollow SNAP Neighbourhood but all are welcome to attend.
Join CVC on this family-friendly walk to learn about stormwater and how managing rain where it falls can create a more resilient and beautiful neighbourhood.
CVC Integrated Water Management staff will lead us along a walk from George Kennedy Public School through Joseph Gibbons Park and the Trees for Halton Hills Arboretum and visit a stormwater outfall into Silver Creek.
Each household will receive a free copy of CVC’s Native Plants for Rain-ready Landscapes booklet and we’ll be giving away native wildflower seeds courtesy of the Halton Butterflyway Project (while supplies last).
