Fred Kline Community Tree Planting
June 9 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm
Fight Climate Change and Add Beauty to Your Community
Join CVC and the Community Climate Council to help make the Fletchers Creek SNAP neighbourhood more sustainable and ready for a changing climate. This event is part of the Fletchers Creek Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Plan (SNAP). This event was generously funded by Ocean Wise and is supported by the David Suzuki Foundation.
Help us plant native trees and shrubs in Fred Kline Park. Trees help fight climate change by storing carbon dioxide and providing natural cooling on hot summer days. They also create habitat for local wildlife and add beauty to your community.
Meet us in Fred Kline Park, on the East side of the parking lot.
