April 7, 2022 – Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) invites businesses in the City of Mississauga to book a free sustainable landscaping assessment to improve on-site stormwater management and help qualify for a credit through the City’s stormwater credit program.
Thanks to the ongoing partnership between CVC and the City of Mississauga, CVC’s Greening Corporate Grounds program continues to offer Mississauga businesses advice, technical support and project planning to help manage stormwater on their properties and reduce their stormwater charge.
“Businesses can benefit from improved stormwater management with reduced flood risk, lower property maintenance costs and by being recognized in the community as environmental champions,” said Deborah Kenley, Senior Coordinator of Greening Corporate Grounds for CVC. “Stormwater management is also critical for protecting our environment and water quality.”
Following the assessment, businesses receive a detailed action plan to help guide them in taking the next steps towards meeting corporate social responsibility goals, making sustainable choices for property improvement and increasing resilience to climate change.
Businesses interested in participating can visit cvc.ca/gcg to learn more or contact program staff through email at [email protected] or by phone at 437-213-1614.
