Credit Valley Conservation recently mailed a flyer to residents in several neighbourhoods in Brampton south of Williams Parkway to the 407, and from Chinguacousy Road west to McMurchy Avenue. This flyer celebrates our shared accomplishments over the past year of an initiative called the Community Tree Project. Through this project hundreds of Brampton residents planted thousands of trees to green our communities and learn about the important cooling benefits of a healthy and climate change resilient tree canopy (or tree cover).
Thanks to feedback from the community, we have been made aware of the errors in the Punjabi translation on the flyer. We sincerely apologize for any offence and confusion that has resulted from this error. We’ve determined the error occurred due to a technical issue with the electronic file after it had been professionally translated and approved for print.
