Parks Pass Terms and Conditions

Parks Pass benefits apply to members of one household when arriving at a location together with their pass card. Parks Pass benefits and free general admission are provided for up to six people arriving in the vehicle registered to the pass. Passes are registered to the family’s licence plate number for validation. We cannot validate free admission for additional individuals arriving in a separate vehicle.

Parks Pass benefits apply to the individual named on the account arriving in the vehicles registered to the pass card. Proof of identity may be requested at the gatehouse. Passes are registered to the individual’s licence plate number for validation. Any additional visitors travelling with the member will be required to pay the regular gate admission fee or have their own Parks Pass.

Parks Pass benefits apply to the individual, 65 years of age or older, named on the account arriving in the vehicles registered to the pass card. Proof of age may be requested at the gatehouse. Passes are registered to the senior individual’s licence plate number for validation. Any additional visitors travelling with the member will be required to pay the regular gate admission fee or have their own Parks Pass.

Parks Pass benefits apply to the individual (non-transferable), with a disability of any age, and named on the account arriving in the vehicles registered to the pass card. Any additional visitors travelling with the member will be required to pay the regular gate admission fee or have their own Parks Pass. Support workers can accompany the individual at no charge, where necessary.

  1. Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) and Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) prioritize staff and visitor safety. We strive to maintain regular access to our parks and facilities, however there are times we may need to close parks or limit services to ensure public safety. Refunds will not be provided for these periods of time.
  2. Parks Passes are subject to the posted operating season of each area. Please visit your favourite park’s webpage for up-to-date information.
  3. Parks passes are non-transferable. Please do not share your Parks Pass card with others, with the exception that Family Parks Passes can only be shared with members of the same household arriving in the vehicle(s) registered to the pass.
  4. Some parks require a reservation to visit to manage visitor capacity. Reserved park visits are limited to the vehicle registered to the pass per reservation and per pass. Gate attendants will ensure that vehicle occupants match the reservation and Parks Pass.
  5. Misuse of your Parks Pass or the reservation system may result in suspension or cancellation of your Pass.
  6. Some activities, events and programs have additional fees, limited space and/or require pre-registration on a “first come, first serve” basis.
  7. Each Parks Pass is valid for one visit per park at one time.
  8. Equipment reservations, and event tickets must be purchased by the Parks Pass cardholder. This cannot be combined with any other offer.
  9. CVC and TRCA reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Free general admission to CVC’s Island Lake, Ken Whillans, Belfountain and Terra Cotta Conservation Areas.

Free general admission to TRCA’s Albion Hills, Black Creek Pioneer Village, Boyd, Bruce’s Mill, Glen Haffy, Heart Lake, Kortright Centre, Petticoat Creek, and Tommy Thompson.

  1. Parks Passes purchased through TRCA will have:

Free general admission to CVC’s, Island Lake, Ken Whillans, and Terra Cotta Conservation Areas, with limited access to Belfountain Conservation Area.

Parks Pass Revenue

Revenue from Parks Passes supports our parks programming, staffing and parks maintenance. Revenue also helps keep natural spaces protected and healthy.
