Reap the Healing Benefits of Nature
Our Health and Wellness program introduces participants to nature in the Credit River Watershed. This program is for cultural organizations, community groups and seniors clubs. Participants are inspired to discover nature in their community. We encourage and help you to explore the outdoors!
Program Details
Part 1: Introductory Presentation
First, our environmental educators introduce you to the local natural environment and the health benefits that come from nature encounters. Our introductory presentation is offered at your meeting place. We will prepare your group for a guided outdoor nature experience.
Part 2: Experience Nature Tour
Second, our environmental educators guide you along ability-appropriate trails at Terra Cotta Conservation Area. We will introduce you to some of the plants and animals that live while teaching you how to stay safe in nature. You will develop confidence to explore nature on your own.
