Kicksledding

Get a Kick Out of Kicksledding at Terra Cotta

Kicksledding is a fun way to get around outside in the winter. Try it on our groomed trails at Terra Cotta Conservation Area. It’s a great alternative to fitness training because it works the muscles in the lower back and thighs. It’s also great for the environment because it doesn’t create pollution or noise. Kicksledding is easy to learn and fun for everyone!

Terra Cotta Lane is a wide and easy, groomed trail, perfect for kicksledding. Travel through hardwood bushes and alongside Wolf Lake on the back of a kicksled. Remember this trail is multi-use and a one-way travel. Please stay on the snowshoeing side of the trail only.

Caution: Don’t use the kicksled on steep slopes as the sled can quickly reach a surprisingly high speed. Do not let children use the sled without the control of an adult.
