Discover How to Identify Common Trees in Your Neighbourhood
Do you wish you could name the trees in your community? Learn tips and tricks to do just that!
Join CVC’s Natural Heritage team and enjoy the Fall colours while:
- Discovering the diversity of trees
- Learning identification tips and tricks like how to use books, apps and other simple identification tools
- Going for a walk in the ravine and meeting your neighbours
This event is part of the Hungry Hollow Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Plan (SNAP).

Hungry Hollow Ravine (Meeting location will be emailed to registrants)
What to Wear:
- This is a rain-or-shine event. Please dress for the weather
- Wear a hat and sturdy shoes
What to Bring:
- Sunscreen and bug spray
- Light refreshments will be served. Please bring your own reusable water bottle and reusable container to help us reduce waste.

- Registration is recommended. Register for this event by September 20 at 12 p.m.
- Washroom amenities will not be available.
- This walk will take place on the Hungry Hollow ravine trails with uneven terrain and moderate hills.
- Stay home if you are feeling sick.
