Island Lake Conservation Area Open House

Learn about the New 25-year Island Lake Management Plan
Join us for a fun and educational day outdoors as you learn how the new management plan will protect and improve Island Lake Conservation Area.
- Free park entry for those attending the open house
- Learn about the wildlife that call Island Lake home
- Connect with CVC staff to learn about ecology, stewardship and the history of the park
- Get your picture taken with birds of prey from Wild Ontario
- Learn about the Credit Valley Trail and Crane Gathering Space, the newly constructed Indigenous placemaking site
- Enjoy complimentary refreshments
Meet dedicated volunteers from the Friends of Island Lake and Island Lake Rowing Club, educators from the Upper Grand District School Board and conservation experts from CVC.
