Island Lake Litter Cleanup

Help Clean up Island Lake Conservation Area
Together, we will help keep Island Lake Conservation Area clean and green. Participants will help collect litter to create a healthy green space in the community before the winter. Removing litter helps protect our wildlife and prevents plastic and other pollutants from entering our local rivers and streams. Volunteers will be provided with all materials necessary to collect litter from the conservation area's shoreline and trails.
What to Wear
- For your own safety, wear a hat, long pants, long socks (to tuck your pants into) and closed-toed shoes.
- This is a rain-or-shine event. Please dress for the weather.
What to Bring
- Your own reusable water bottle
Additional Information
- Pre-registration is required.
- All volunteers receive free park admission for the day.
- Topper’s Pizza is donating a free pizza lunch to all volunteers at the conclusion of the event.
- Volunteers under 18 please bring a signed copy of our event waiver
- Volunteers over 18 please read and acknowledge the event waiver
