Glendale Rain Garden Stewardship Event and Tour
September 12 @ 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Help us Restore Native Habitat for Wildlife
Join us to help make the Fletchers Creek SNAP neighbourhood more sustainable and ready for a changing climate. This event is part of the Fletchers Creek Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Plan (SNAP).
Take part in a tour of the Glendale rain garden to help understand how it functions and the benefits it provides to the community. Support the maintenance and care of the green infrastructure at Glendale Public School by removing non-native species that are impacting the survival of native plants. These actions will help restore the habitat and function of the rain garden and keep it beautiful for the community to enjoy.
Location: Meet us at the Glendale rain garden. Parking is available in the Glendale Public school parking lot off of Elmgrove Avenue.
