Celebrate Five Years of Fletchers Creek SNAP With us!
Join us at Fred Kline Park for a fun family-friendly day to celebrate five years of Fletchers Creek SNAP!
Enjoy a guided walk to identify local trees and birds. Join us in preserving the park by educating yourself on and removing invasive species. Engage with community organizations, take part in fun activities and treat yourself to cake and refreshments!
This event is part of Fletchers Creek Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Plan (SNAP).

What to Wear:
- This is a rain-or-shine event. Please dress for the weather.
What to Bring:
- Your own reusable water bottle (we have water to refill from).
- Sunscreen and bug spray.
- Light refreshments will be served. Please bring your own reusable container to help us reduce waste and take snacks home with you.

- This is a family friendly event. Content will be adapted for all ages.
- Registration is recommended. Register for this event by October 4 by 12 p.m.
- Washroom amenities will be available.
- Accessibility: The walk will take place on paved pathways and sidewalks. Some surfaces may be uneven and grassy.
