Cooksville SNAP Inaugural Tree Planting and Celebration
October 22, 2023 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm
Get Involved
Join Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) with your family, friends and neighbours! Plant trees and enjoy a fun morning.
Learn about the new Cooksville Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Plan (SNAP) project and meet representatives from local groups. Share what you love about your neighbourhood and what you would like to see improved.
Volunteer hours available. A light lunch will be provided.
Together, we will plant native trees and shrubs in Cooksville Park. Trees help fight climate change by storing carbon dioxide and providing natural cooling on hot summer days. They also create habitat for local wildlife and add beauty to your community.
