Connecting to the Land with Our Hands for Youth
June 27 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Build Climate Resilience and Connect with Nature
Youth from the Credit River Watershed are invited to plant native plants at Island Lake Conservation Area near the Crane Gathering Space. In doing so, it will help participants reflect upon the core teachings that were given from the first workshop (May 25th). Attendance at the first workshop is not required.
We will have a traditional feast afterwards and there will be a chance for youth to share. This event is the culminating activity for the Frontline 2023-2024 program where we will celebrate our accomplishments.
Location: Island Lake Conservation Area, 673067 Hurontario Street South, Orangeville, ON L9W 2Y9. Meet us in the parking lot P1.
