15th Annual Bass Derby at Island Lake Conservation Area

Two day catch and release derby hosted by the Friends of Island Lake as a fundraiser for Island Lake Conservation Area.
The Derby will take place on Saturday, July 12 from 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and Sunday, July 13 from 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Event Notes
- One day or two day tickets are available.
- Park and boat launch open at 5:30 a.m.
- The Rental Shop, bait, tackle, and rentals open at 6:00 a.m.
Price
- Regular (age 13+): $70 - $100
- Youth (age 15 and under): $10 - $20
Prizes:
Regular (age 13+): Prizes will be awarded to the registered participant catching the fish that has the highest combined score that includes weight (in grams) and length (in millimeters).
- 1st place Bass: $5000 cash
- 2nd place Bass: $1500 cash
- 3rd place Bass $1000

Youth (15 & under) daily plaques for first place: Largemouth/ Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Yellow Perch, Black Crappie, Pumpkinseed and Rock Bass.
Fishing license required for those fishing age 18 – 64.
