It Takes a Community

Together, we made a difference! Thanks to you, our dedicated volunteers, partners and friends, 2022 was another great year for Credit Valley Conservation.

Here’s what we accomplished in 2022:

  • Over 16,300 volunteer hours
  • Over 4,700 volunteers
  • Over 9,200 trees and shrubs planted
  • Over 2,500 wildflowers planted

We’re inspired by your deep appreciation for the environment and all that you do to support a thriving environment that protects, connects and sustains us!

Through our youth, community and corporate events we:

  • Restored more than 68,900 square metres of land. That’s almost 46 hockey rinks!
  • Removed almost 840 pounds of litter. That’s the weight of almost six adult male white-tailed deer!
  • Removed more than 16,700 square metres of invasive species. That’s 11 hockey rinks!
  • Recorded 1,586 observations of 67 butterfly species. That’s 10 additional butterfly species found in the watershed since Butterfly Blitz began in 2019.

Let’s connect in 2023. Learn about volunteer opportunities by following us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
