DIY Tree Planting

If you choose to purchase potted naturalization material directly from us and plant your own trees and shrubs, we have put together some guidelines for you to consider. CVC forestry has produced several fact sheets that you can use in combination with these guidelines to help you through the planting process and make your planting project a success. Before starting your reforestation project, visit CVC forestry’s Do It Yourself Guidelines (see downloads below) which provide information about:

    • getting started –  establishing pre planting guidelines;
    • planting objectives;
    • site growing conditions;
    • plant selection;
    • size of planting;
    • planting technique and design;
    • plant pick-up and payment.

We are pleased to provide additional technical advice to help guide landowners throughout the planting process.
