Site Description
Located on Mavis Road in Mississauga, Fielding Environmental has patches of green space in front of their main office and lab ranging from 410m2 (0.041ha) to 65m2 (0.065ha).

Site Challenges

  • Harsh conditions – subject to regular dustings from an aggregate plant across the street
  • Road salt contamination from one of Mississauga’s busiest roads
  • Disturbed, highly compacted and unevenly draining soils
  • Fully exposed to elements due to lack of vegetation
