Plan Input

CVC works in partnership with provincial, regional and local municipalities within our jurisdiction to provide input and technical support during the development and implementation of Official Plans, Secondary Plans, Comprehensive Zoning By-laws, municipal by-laws and environmental studies/reports such as subwatershed studies or environmental master plans.

CVC provides input throughout these processes based on the governing principles and policies outlined in our Watershed Planning and Regulation Policies.

Through participation in various committees, stakeholder workshops and studies, CVC provides valuable information and advice on our interests including hazard land management, water management and the protection of natural heritage systems and functions within our jurisdiction.
