Enjoy Food and Family Fun in the Forest this Fall
Thursday, September 26, 2019 by Credit Valley Conservation
Spend the day under a canopy of fall colours at Terra Cotta’s Fall Fest. The event runs October 5 and 6, 2019 and is hosted by Credit Valley Conservation (CVC). Fall Fest offers fun activities for the whole family at Terra Cotta Conservation Area, Halton Hills.
“We encourage everyone to come out and enjoy a great mix of local vendors, live entertainment, family activities and food,” said Terri LeRoux, Senior Manager, PARCS for CVC and Executive Director for Credit Valley Conservation Foundation (CVCF). “Our conservation areas are great places for everyone to take in the beautiful fall colours and get inspired by nature.”
This year festival goers can enjoy local food trucks and vendors, listen to live music and see a Wild Ontario bird show. Visitors can roam along Terra Cotta Lane and enjoy a magician, giant-sized family games, an obstacle course and beautiful fall scenery.
Kids activities include a bouncy castle, face painting, Kreative Kidz Art Bus crafts, wagon rides and Nerf Battleground games. Stop at CVC’s selfie stations along the trail to capture festival memories.
Visitors can also take Terra Cotta’s FREE shuttle service to the Cheltenham Badlands. The site is one of the most recognizable and visited nature heritage landmarks in southern Ontario.
Buy tickets online to save on admission and up to 50 per cent on a special Kids Play Pass. In addition to attending the festival, visitors can show their admission receipts at any CVC parks location to receive free same day access.
Terra Cotta’s Fall Fest is partially supported by funding through CVCF. The festival proceeds support the work of CVC parks to protect natural resources, connect people with nature and inspire a deep appreciation for the role of nature in keeping us healthy and happy.
