The event takes place on Saturday, March 24 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Caledon Village Place, 18313 Hurontario St, Caledon.

Learn about wildlife and habitat restoration projects during a presentation by CVC’s restoration experts. Services include tree planting, wetland and stream restoration, invasive plant control, wildlife habitat structures, forest management and more.

“This event provides landowners the opportunity to learn about our services to enhance nature and their properties with expert advice,” said Mike Puddister, Deputy CAO and Director of Watershed Transformation at CVC. “Our subsidized restoration services make it easy for landowners to plant trees, manage their forests, restore wetlands and create wildlife habitat on their properties.”

After the presentation, attendees can talk one-on-one with an expert to discuss potential projects for their property and available funding programs. They’ll receive a map of their property and can book a free consultation on their land. They’ll also be eligible to win a tree or bird box.

The event is free to attend thanks to funding from CVC’s regional and municipal partners. Reserve a spot at . For more information call 1-800-668-5557.
