Volunteer Events

Volunteer Events are perfect for individuals, families, and small groups!

Joining CVC at a volunteer event is a great way to get outdoors, have fun and help the environment.  From tree planting and invasive species removal to electrofishing and spawning surveys there are lots of ways individuals, families and small groups can get involved.

Your Health & Safety is important to us!  We will provide everything you need to successfully contribute to the project.  This includes tools, equipment, instruction and water for your re-fillable water bottle.

If you (or your child) are 18 or under check out our Youth Volunteer Policy, you many need to bring a waiver signed by a parent/guardian to participate.

Guidelines for Participants:

  • Please dress appropriately because terrain may be uneven and there may be prickly vegetation. Closed toed, sturdy shoes and long pants are required to help protect against scratches and insect bites. Please do not wear sandals or flip flops.
  • Bring sunscreen and a hat.
  • Bring a reusable water bottle. Extra water is available onsite, however cups or bottles are not provided.
