Free Community Tree Project Presentations

Teacher and students standing under the shade of a tree.We’re offering  free presentations to schools in Community Tree Project neighbourhoods. Through the Community Tree Project, we’re raising awareness about climate change and the benefits of trees.

Our experienced educators are delivering free virtual presentations to kindergarten to grade 8 classes on local watershed science, climate change and how trees cool their community.

Presentations Offered

Super Seedlings

Students learn about the plants and animals in this interactive story.

Grades: Kindergarten

Presentation Length: 30 minutes

Curriculum Links:

Natural Neighbours

Students will discover living things in their own neighbourhood.

 Grades: 1 – 3

Students will study watershed habitats and identify local plants and animals.

What is the Community Tree Project?

The Community Tree Project is a community-based tree planting and climate change awareness-building initiative.

This project is running in select neighbourhoods in Brampton with the goal of creating a climate ready community. Learn more at cvc.ca/CommunityTreeProject
