Youth 4 the Credit – Volunteer Event

Youth will take part in a hands-on stewardship event to plant native trees and shrubs. They will learn about local environmental issues and how planting native plants help mitigate these issues, such as climate change.
We ask that students only sign up for a maximum of two volunteer events.
You are required to print and bring a copy of the Youth 4 the Credit – Volunteer Waiver to your events.
Participant requirements:
- Acknowledge you have read all CVC waivers and forms
- Complete online self-screening 24 hours before an event and when you first arrive onsite
- Stay at home if you are feeling sick, if you have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive, or are under self-quarantine
- Practice physical distancing and best hygiene practices at CVC events
- Bring your own mask
- Bring your own work gloves
- Bring your own snacks, lunch and water
- Dress for the weather and wear long pants and closed-toe shoes or boots
** Youth must be between 14-18 years old to participate in events. Safety protocol will be in place and you must attend a mandatory training session in order to sign up for events.**
