Presenter: CVC’s Melanie Kramer

As the Senior Coordinator of Sustainable Home Landscapes for Credit Valley Conservation (CVC), Melanie Kramer leads CVC’s Your Green Yard program in promoting the beauty and value of sustainable landscaping. With both a Masters in Landscape Architecture and a Masters in Environmental Studies and almost 13 years at CVC, Melanie draws on the team’s experience researching, planting, maintaining and monitoring gardens, as well as broader CVC research and studies focused on building biodiversity and resilience to climate change. Her vision is to see all home gardens and landscapes help to manage rainwater where it falls while including beautiful, local native plants.
