Webinar – Canadian ETV Program: Understanding and interpreting the results of the new Oil Grit Separator Verifications

Thursday, April 19, 2018

12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.

$49.00 CAD

*This webinar is run through the STEP program

In 2013, Toronto Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) worked with a 22 member advisory committee to develop a standard laboratory test procedure for evaluating the performance of OGS technologies on behalf of the Canadian ETV program. Over the past few years, a number of OGS vendors have completed testing and verified their products under the ETV program. The test data presented as fact sheets on the ETV website provide approval agencies with an independent assessment of how these technologies perform under standardized laboratory test conditions.

This webinar will provide an update on testing results of oil grit separators (OGS) that have been verified through the program and discuss how these verifications can and are being used by municipalities and other agencies as part of their approval processes. In particular, the webinar will review some of the decision support tools being used by municipalities and provinces to ensure consistent sizing of OGS and efficient review of submissions.
