Help control the spread of invasive species at Dominion Gardens Park

Together, Credit Valley Conservation and the Town of Halton Hills Trail Stewards will put some chest waders on, get into the pond and remove the Yellow Floating Heart that is shading out native aquatic plants and degrading fish and wildlife habitat.

  • Please be sure to wear long pants, socks and closed toe shoes.
  • Washrooms are not available.
  • This event will have a maximum of 20 participants
  • Meet at the Dominion Gardens parking lot at 135 Maple Avenue.
  • Please register for this event by Sunday, July 25th, 2021

The well-being of our participants and staff is our top priority. We are following provincial and local regulations regarding COVID-19 guidelines for outdoor gatherings. Online registration and COVID-19 screening are required. We will do everything we can to ensure participants maintain physical distancing at our events.   • Volunteers under 18 please bring a signed copy of our event waiver.
  • Volunteers over 18 please read and acknowledge the event waiver.
