Spawning Survey (volunteer event)

Volunteers are needed to help with Brook Trout spawning surveys. Volunteers will be sent out to a number of locations with an experienced group leader to map where Brook Trout and other species are spawning.

Please bring:

  • Snacks
  • Water
  • Appropriate clothing for the weather
  • If you don’t have your own chest waders and polarized sunglasses, they will be supplied.

This event may be canceled due to heavy rain or unsuitable river conditions. Meeting location is Credit River at Charleston Sideroad (Hwy 24), west of McLaren Road. Park in parking lot on south side of Hwy 24. MAP
