In this half-day session hosted by Greening Corporate Grounds, you will learn how sustainable landscaping and stormwater management techniques can reduce pollution, build resiliency and save you money.

This event is for business leaders in Mississauga with properties within the Credit River Watershed looking to improve their bottom line and build environmental sustainability and resiliency into their corporate landscape.

Topics will include:
· How pollution prevention plans can save you money: Understanding Mississauga’s Stormwater Sewer Bylaw and Stormwater Charge with Trevor Swift, Environmental Coordinator at the City of Mississauga

· Why reducing the use of road salt on your property is a win-win and the effects of road salt on our freshwater systems with Lorna Murison, Coordinator for Water and Climate Change Science at Credit Valley Conservation (CVC)

· Quick wins for managing stormwater and reducing your stormwater charge with Bill Trenouth, Specialist in Water Resources at CVC

· Why investing in nature is a good choice for building better business: The benefits of sustainable landscaping on corporate properties with Deborah Kenley, Senior Coordinator for Greening Corporate Grounds at CVC
