Island Lake Conservation Area Management Plan Community Consultation

Wednesday, April 21, 2021

7 - 9 pm

Credit Valley Conservation is developing a new park management plan for Island Lake Conservation Area (ILCA). The plan will guide the management and development of the park for the next 25 years.

The new plan will outline priority areas for ecological restoration, where capital investments are needed, and what recreational activities and visitor experiences will be offered at the park.

Join us at our first community consultation. We’ll be providing an update on the project, sharing the draft guiding statements (vision, objectives, outcomes and directions), sharing the supporting strategies (trails and natural resource management) and draft conceptual site plan and designs.

We encourage you to read the information posted on our website at and to submit your questions in advance. We’ll make sure to address them in our presentation.
