Family Fun Day at Island Lake

Join us for family fun in the great outdoors! Enjoy a variety of outdoor activities with the whole family at Island Lake Conservation Area.

Activities include:

  • Learn to ice fish – free ice fishing demonstrations and tips (every 30 mins. from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.)
  • Bring your skates and glide around the skating rink or trail
  • Try out snowshoes and fat tire bikes
  • Explore the trails
  • Try Crokicurl
  • Roast a hot dog or try a s’more*

Don’t forget to register for our fishing derby.  Family Day is the last day to reel in a big one!

Hitched Coffee will also be onsite offering a variety of hot drinks (coffee, tea, hot chocolate and lattes). Drink discounts available if you bring your own mug or purchase a CVC Parks tumbler onsite (cash, credit and debit accepted).
