Electrofishing Volunteer Day- July 24

Come out and assist CVC staff with electrofishing to monitor the fisheries of the Credit River watershed. Learn about fish habitat and how to identify some of the 80+ Credit River fish species.

Required equipment such as chest waders and polarized sunglasses will be provided. However, be sure to bring with you:

  • Wear light, comfortable clothing
  • Water
  • Sunscreen and a hat
  • Snacks

Please read CVC’s volunteer waiver before proceeding with registration.

Once registered, volunteers will be contacted & provided with detailed directions to electrofishing location.
